Remember those Air McFlys? Yeah, well….

22 04 2007

There’s a correction to be made reagarding those cool Air McFly shoes that we blogged about earlier this week — they don’t exist.  According to a reader of the site, those shoes were nothing more than the ingenuity of some youngster who decided to post the story on digg.com.

The stuff on Digg (which was re-posted on metafilter and other sites) was not fact checked at all.

The shoes are not being released.

That’s why there’s an official website of the McFLY 2015 project.

www.mcfly2015.com

So yeah, we got duped on the whole thing and we apologize for the error.  Just goes to show you that one can’t believe everything they read on the Internets.

Back to your regularly scheduled blog post, already in progress.
