Alex Rodriguez, the New York Yankees third baseman, has smacked his 500th home run off of the Kansas City Royals’ Kyle Davies.
The home run gave the Yankees a 3-0 jump on the visiting Royals and the score is currently 4-0 in the home half of the second.
Congrats to A-Rod on becoming the youngest (32 years, 8 days) in MLB history to swat his 500th, beating the legendary Jimmie Foxx by 300 days (32 years, 338 days).
