A judge in Santa Monica, Calif. ruled that ex-NFLer and accused murder O.J. Simpson must hand over assets to the Fred Goldman family to satisfy a judgment that found him liable for the deaths of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and friend Ron Goldman.

Predators deal with Nashville in jeopardy

Report: Predators sale in jeopardy (TSN.ca)

The leader of a local group trying to buy the Nashville Predators said Monday that he doesn’t expect the deal to work out.

That group, led by David Freeman, expressed disappointment after they asked for new tax money and several improvements to the Sommet Center, the Predators home.  The city rejected those requests.

Carlos Peña of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Dmitri Young of the Washington Nationals, who made it back to the majors as non-roster spring training invitees, were named the 2007 Comeback Player of the Year for their respective leagues.

Thomas, MSG guilty of of sexual harassment of top team executive

Jury: Thomas, MSG liable for sexual harassment (AP/ESPN)

A jury in a New York courtroom found New York Knicks coach Isiah Thomas sexually harassed a top team executive.

The jury also found that Madison Square Garden committed harassment against the woman, and ruled that MSG should have to pay her punitive damages. The same jury will now begin deciding the amount of damages.
