The morning after Joe Torre may’ve managed his last game in Yankees’ pinstripes…

Indians 6, Yankees 4 — The game started out ominously as Cleveland lead-off hitter Grady Sizemore clubbed the third pitch from Yankees starter Chien-Ming Wang and the Indians put the peddle-to-the-metal and knocked off the Bronx Bombers 6-4 to claim the American League Division Series.

Wang’s outing didn’t get better from there as he was chased in the second after giving up three more runs.

Paul Byrd and the Indians bullpen closed out the Yanks over four innings pitched, completing another first-round debacle for the Yankees that might cost manager Joe Torre his job.
