According to a broadcast report on ESPN News, the meeting of the New York Yankees brass has broken up with no decision yet on the future of manager Joe Torre.
Penn State tailback Austin Scott pleaded not guilty to rape charges and was ordered to stand trial on felony rape and sexual-assault charges, the Associated Press is reporting.
Scott was suspended from the team on Oct. 5, and charged last week. Defense lawyer John Karoly said Scott will remain in school while he fights the charges.
